Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the coupling and coevolution in the management of human talent in university teachers. Both concepts will be addressed from the perspective of authors such as Bertalanffy, Luhmann, among others. Methodologically, the research is oriented on the qualitative paradigm, the technique was implemented: documentary review, and a semi-structured survey type instrument was applied to a population of 32 professors from the Faculty of Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences of the Luis Amigó Catholic University.

The main findings demonstrate that, when it comes to teamwork, there is a clear preference for competition. In this sense, empathy and connection were revealed as key elements for success in working together. Regarding the university's contribution to professional growth and personal fulfillment, professors perceive it as positive. Teachers highlighted institutional support in personal and professional development.

For its part, from the perspective of systems theories, in aspects such as interrelation, rapport, interpenetration, interconnection, action and communication between systems, it was identified that the relationship between teachers and their work teams reflects an effective coupling. The above allows us to conclude that the university plays a key role in supporting the professional and personal growth of teachers, generating an environment conducive to the joint evolution of the systems involved: the psychic system (the teachers) and the organizational system (the university).
